Rebellion of the slaves O slaves, strengthen your resolve you will not serve your masters Whose mighty house is doomed, its final day is coming The stones are in the stream to build your armoury You have become soldiers So gather up your arms to fight against the sailors Who steer their mighty ships into the waves of justice The weights are on the scales to price the land against the sea And the weight of all the sea and the land is in my hands And some of it is slipping through my fingers I have thrown down his cornerstones so I can reclaim the land You’re my broken body, buried in the foundations of my Kingdom Princes, leave behind your thrones and make yourselves as beggars Who give themselves away to pay their restoration The scaffolds on the wall so leap from the highest floor You have become angels So join your voices blow your horns against the demons Who grasp the empires of the broken world with iron fists The force is in the earth to pull the land into the sea And the weight of all the sea and the land is in my hands And some of it’s escaping through my fingers I have melted down their iron fists so I can work the land You’re my broken body, raised from the cinders of my forging fire O slaves, strengthen your resolve and declare to me your master Whose mighty house will se eternity in one day The sun is in the sky to light the battlefield O come and die with Me For by drowning in My sea you can win this war So turn your ships into the waves that you created I paid the price and I bought the land From the keepers of the sea And now I lead the slaves to victory By drowning in His sea we can win this war So let’s turn our ships ino the waves that we created Pay the price and buy the land From the keepers of the sea He’ll lead us, the slaves, into victory

I took a walk through the rain I'd had enough of your talking, I wanted to sing again So myself I told, as the water seeped into my clothes When the raining stops I'll sing my new refrain So I took my guitar from the back of my car And I went down to the river Which was flooding over And I hadn't travelled far Before I said "I think I'll stop here, this seems like a good spot here A good spot for a song Oooooooooooooooooooooooo With the guitar slung around my shoulder That first chord I strummed But the rain, it just got colder I turned my back to the wind as my shoes began to take the water in I said, I'll wait for the rain to stop, then I'll be able to sing So I took my guitar and I went back to my car And I just watched the birds on the river and I said to myself "Where to they find shelter When they have travelled far? In the thickness of the leaves they sing louder when the storm clouds gather above them Oooooooooooooooooooooooo So then I ran into the rain Tore off my soaking clothes and I jump into the water stream And my cold heart grew hotter, as I ducked my head under the water I might have nearly drowned, but at least I can breathe again So I flung the guitar into the bac of my car and I said "What is it about you, I don't think I can sing without you? And when it's raining hard, I can't dance to the rhythm or bring myself to swim in the river Oooooooooooooooooooooooo So I flung the guitar into the back of my car And I said "forget about you I will sing this song without you And when it's raining hard I'll just dance to the rhythm And dive into the rapids of the river"
